The smell that fills the kitchen with this potato and shredded ham bake will surely get you licking your lips and running to the dinner table! This dish uses basic ingredients: potato, asparagus, shredded ham, cheese, butter and gluten free flour for a sauce, is the perfect dish to feed the family! I decided to peel my potatoes before slicing them, but you could keep the skin on and use a mandoline for very thin slices if you prefer. This dish only took 40 minutes to bake until crispy and golden, and is a perfect with a salad or other vegetables on the side.
This is such a versatile dish as you could add many ingredients. I may add courgettes and spring onions next time, or even use sweet potato as an alternative to these potatoes. You could even use leftovers from a previous dish!
