Enjoying meals out with friends and family should be an enjoyable experience without stress or challenge. For many of us, eating out presents regular challenges and stresses, especially if we have coeliac disease, IBS, intolerances or food allergies
Cote Brasserie has locations all around the UK, and a few weeks ago, myself and some gluten free buddies enjoyed a lunch at St Katherine's dock, near Tower Hill, London. I have been a number of times to the Cote Brasserie in Wimbledon, but didn't realise then that they offered a gluten free menu.
We have all been there. That voice inside our head that screams ''it's contaminated!'' when your not so helpful friend accidentally puts your bread in the toaster without the toastie bags! Or your boyfriend uses the same knife to dunk into your favourite jam, and then spreads it on his (gasp) non gluten free bread. So many gluten lurking opportunities, it's an absolute nightmare trying to keep on top of the cross contamination!
Greek Pitta breads are not only easy peasy to make, but they can be a great on the go snack, or for lunch or dinner! They are filling too, and you can have lots of fun creating new and exciting fillings! I used the Genius pitta bread with chicken, peppers, greek yoghurt, fried halloumi and salad!
Chocolate Christmas cake featuring Betty Crocker cake mix to make a christmas chocolate cake! This chocolate cake is so easy, you can make it in a jiffy! This is perfect when you don't have time to get all the bits and bobs for a cake, but it will still be delicious! I have used Betty Crockers gluten free cake mix a number of times, so can happily say that this mix is a good one!
