Chocolate christmas cake ft Betty Crocker cake mix!
A simple cake featuring the famous Betty crackers cake mix!
Ingredients
- 1 pack Betty crocker devils chocolate mix
- green roll out icing for the holly or you could use food colouring
- 200 g milk or dark chocolate
- 1 oz butter
- sprinkle of icing sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
Instructions
-
Follow the instructions for the Betty crocker cake mix and place mixture in two separate 8 inch round tins. Cook for desired time as stated on packaging. I baked it for around 25 mins.
-
Once cool, melt the butter, chocolate, milk and icing sugar and spread around the cake and inside the cake.
-
Make the holly leaves. I used white roll out icing, and added a splash of green colouring and mixed it in, but you can buy green roll icing. I had holly leaf cutters already, but you could make them yourself, it will just be more time consuming!
-
Keep in fridge. Enjoy!
Here’s where you can get your hands on the Betty Crockers cake mix! It doesn’t look like it’s come out of a packet mix does it!! No one will ever know. 😉
