I have teamed up once again with Pago Fruit Juice to bring you a delicious and easy homemade mango ice cream! I was kindly sent a box full of my choice of juices to try. I opted for mango as it’s so fresh and summery. Pago have recently given their branding a bit of a spruce up.
For those that don’t know about Pago Fruit Juice, Pago was a family affair, founded in 1888 by Austrian Jakob Pagitz and his brother Franz. Always keeping to values, Pago has always offered a unique fruity experience and fast forward to 1989, the green glass bottle was born! From my last Pago offering, I made a fizzy pop fruity drink and as I don’t normally make ice cream, I thought I would give it a go!
To make my mango ice cream, all you need is double cream, tinned mangos, Pago Fruit Juice and a blender!
Here’s how to make the recipe below!
Mango Ice cream
Delicious mango ice cream using pago fruit juice!
- 300ml double cream
- 2 tinned mangos in syrup
- 1 mango pago fruit juice
In a blender, add the double cream and 2 tins of mangos and the syrup and the pago fruit juice. Save some of the mango segments to chop up into little pieces for the top.
Pour in a plastic tupperware and spread the remaining segments of mangos over the top.
Place to freeze overnight.
