I recently got in touch with a company called FoodAdvisr who have created an app where you can scan products when you are out and about and according to your selected intolerances, will give you a run down of the ingredients so you can see before purchasing. This week I tried out the app. Here are my thoughts!

This week, I decided to be “chewsy”, and try out some new gum! Whenever I chew gum, I am reminded of the days when I used to wear braces, so chewing any gum or sticky chewy sweets was a big no no. The longing I felt when everyone else was chewing gum and stuffing their faces with chewy fruitellas, wine gums and chewitts!
I was lucky enough to receive a cake in a tin last week from a company called Chacon Cakes, who are based in South West London. All cakes are made in a completely gluten free environment and the company specialises in making beautiful mini cakes, that you can create yourself too. I chose to have a chocolate cake base, with the first filling of vanilla cream and the second filling with chocolate ganache. The topping was white chocolate.
