Olive Branch Food

Olive Branch Food is brought to you by Maria Koinaki and Kamil. Maria hails from the beautiful island of Crete, and together with Maria’s father Yiannis, they make their own Olive Oil on their farm in Crete. Everything good comes from Greece (ok, I am a little biased but it’s true!) Their products include a selection of mezes, tapenade, greek olive oil, delicious biscuits, gift tubes, olives and more!

I sampled six of their products, which are all gluten free! I used them in my everyday meals so this is how I got on!

Burger in a bun using Olive Branch Greek Mezze Roasted Pepper Paste

The pepper paste is very versatile and can be used as a marinade, or as a dip. I used it with a beef burger and bun as an alternative to tomato sauce and it was really delicious!

Gilled Halloumi, rice and red peppers using Olive Branch Chunky Tapenade with green olives, Florina peppers and chilli

This tapenade is bursting with flavour, and I added this to my oven baked halloumi, rice and red peppers! It is a simple dish that could be a starter when you host a party and it’s perfect for the weekday meal as it is super easy!

Olive Branch Sweet Olive, Fig and Almond Relish

This relish was definitely the favourite out of everything we tried! My dad just kept eating it! I used this relish in a courgette quiche and it really added flavour. It was so good, I should have made a bigger quiche! Check out my RECIPE.
