Mr Lee’s Healthy Pot Noodles

The story of Mr Lee’s pot noodles starts with a man called Damien Lee. A big lover of pot noodles, he embarked on creating his own style of pot noodle. Damien was diagnosed with cancer, and knew that in order to become well again, he would need to make a change in his lifestyle and his diet. He was determined to keep his body and mind healthy. So by revolutionising the pot noodle, he created something that was full of goodness without all of the rubbish ingredients. When Mr Lee got the all clear, Mr Lees Noodles was born.

Sourdough Mess Cookies

I recently purchased gluten free cookies from a company called Sourdough Mess. The company was created by Maria Stafano who decided to set up a micro bakery in her flat in East London. Maria currently specialises in making vegan and gluten free cookies as well as vegan artisan bread to deliver straight to your door. Sourdough mess can also be found at various markets and free from events.

Angels and Cookies Cookie Dough

This is a review for Angels and Cookies cookie dough. The company, founded by Karen Cappetta is based in the UK and produces ready to go gourmet cookie dough that is not only gluten free, but also egg free, dairy free, nut free, wheat free and vegan so it caters for all! I chose this company as I wanted to see just how all these organic ingredients, also free from hydrogenated oils, additives, preservatives and anything artificial would taste! Currently, there are three flavours available: chocolate chip, chocolate fudge and ginger and spice.

A cake in a tin by Chacon Cakes!

I was lucky enough to receive a cake in a tin last week from a company called Chacon Cakes, who are based in South West London. All cakes are made in a completely gluten free environment and the company specialises in making beautiful mini cakes, that you can create yourself too. I chose to have a chocolate cake base, with the first filling of vanilla cream and the second filling with chocolate ganache. The topping was white chocolate.

Afternoon Tea at Beyond Bread Bakery London

Last weekend I spent a lovely Saturday afternoon savouring the delights of Beyond Bread Bakery’s first ever afternoon tea selection. Beyond Bread Bakery opened its doors earlier this year in London’s Fitzrovia. Behind the scenes is a team of experts and bakers who not only have years of experience, research and credibility, but who constantly challenge the status quo by exploring and experimenting with new ways to use gluten-free ingredients.
