Betty crocker chocolate xmas cake

Chocolate christmas cake ft Betty Crocker cake mix!

A simple cake featuring the famous Betty crackers cake mix!

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Betty crocker devils chocolate mix
  • green roll out icing for the holly or you could use food colouring
  • 200 g milk or dark chocolate
  • 1 oz butter
  • sprinkle of icing sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Follow the instructions for the Betty crocker cake mix and place mixture in two separate 8 inch round tins. Cook for desired time as stated on packaging. I baked it for around 25 mins.

  2. Once cool, melt the butter, chocolate, milk and icing sugar and spread around the cake and inside the cake. 

  3. Make the holly leaves. I used white roll out icing, and added a splash of green colouring and mixed it in, but you can buy green roll icing. I had holly leaf cutters already, but you could make them yourself, it will just be more time consuming!

  4. Keep in fridge. Enjoy!
