2 years on the blog! Happy 2nd Birthday to The Gluten Free Greek! When I first started, I really had no idea about blogging at all, and was not a social media fan. I was flung into a world of tweets, likes, shares and insta stories and had no clue what I was doing half the time!View Post
Set in the heart of Leigh Broadway, Leigh Bistro is the Modern European restaurant and clearly the place to be as it was packed! I went there last week for a Christmas gathering with the ballet ladies. Here is what I thought of the Christmas menu and the gluten free options!
Ah Christmas time! A time to spread the joy and love with our friends and family. Our social calendars are filling up with work parties, family gatherings and our friends’ shindigs. Lots of merriment, drinking and stuffing our faces. We certainly do not want to be getting glutened at this merry time of year! Here are some of my top tips to help you steer clear of gluten this holiday season.
I was lucky enough to be invited to the John Lewis Christmas stir up Sunday event last week at the Waitrose Cookery school in Finchley Road, London. Myself and fellow gluten free, vegan and lifestyle bloggers spent the evening munching, sipping cocktails, making puddings and having a jolly good time!
I am so excited to be writing this post about the Brit Mums Live! This was the first big blogging event that I have attended in my blogging life so far and it was incredibly exciting. Brit Mums is Britain’s biggest collective of social media influencers and lifestyle bloggers.
A few weeks ago, my mother and I were immersed in the world of Arabian nights when we went to see Aladdin the musical as a birthday treat for me. I booked for a Friday night stay at London Tower Hotel and an evening show of Aladdin. Breakfast was included in the price for £179 each for the hotel and the theatre show through travelzoo. I have seen quite a lot of musicals over the years, so was intrigued to see how this show would compare to the others that I have seen.
It was my birthday at the weekend and I turned the big 29! Apart from a few grey hairs sprouting here and there, and my neck and chin looking a bit dodgy when I take selfies at certain angles, I have been trying my best to embrace birthdays! I received some very nice little treats for my birthday, so I thought I would share a few of them!
We all need to look after ourselves and stay healthy throughout the year, especially when we are on holiday! Whether we want to doze off on the sun lounger or get cosy on a winter ski trip, we still need to make sure we pack all our health essentials. According to the Daily Express, one in four of us have fallen ill on holiday.
I recently worked with BarleyCup, which is an instant cereal drink made from natural ingredients. Their products are gluten free, vegan and caffeine free! I was interested to try these as an alternative to my usual cups of tea! I conducted a little experiment with some ladies from my dance class as well as family members to see whether they could taste any difference to their usual hot beverages.
