What’s in the box? Beauty Products

beauty in a box

I wanted to do a few blog posts on beauty products as I feel that I have been neglecting my beauty section. So for those who are not interested in beauty stuff I am sorry! My sister (Ekaterina’s Greek Expectations) selected this box for me as a birthday present – she bought it from Latest in Beauty where you can build your own box and choose from lots of wonderful products. Let’s see what’s inside!

Darphin Beauty Revealing Cream

I use tons of hand creams so the L’Occitane Delicious Hands mini hand cream was a great little one to put in my travel bag. I love rose scented products so the REN body lotion was perfect. The Bourjois Aqua blush didn’t really show up on my skin, so maybe if I were to get another to get a darker pink perhaps. The Kiko Velvet Touch creamy stick was easy to use and felt velvety soft on my skin. The Rimmel London Provocalips is a lovely colour and stayed on well. I tend to wear more pink lipstick than red but for certain occasions it will be really nice to use. I have recently started using Darphin products and I really like them. They are expensive, but for my skin I have to use particular products that don’t irritate or dry out my skin. I have used other famous brands before and I didn’t really like them. Of course, everyones skin is different so you have to find something that works for you. Finally, I tried the Deborah Mitchell Heaven Peppermint Hydrogel and I couldn’t smell anything pepperminty but it did tingle on my skin. I used it as a primer before applying my foundation.
