My Holiday Health Kit Essentials

We all need to look after ourselves and stay healthy throughout the year, especially when we are on holiday! Whether we want to doze off on the sun lounger or get cosy on a winter ski trip, we still need to make sure we pack all our health essentials. According to the Daily Express, one in four of us have fallen ill on holiday.

Barley Cup Instant Drink Review

I was recently sent some products from a PR company working with Barley Cup, which is an instant cereal drink made from natural ingredients. Their products are gluten free, vegan and caffeine free! I was interested to try these as an alternative to my usual cups of tea! I conducted a little experiment with some ladies from my dance class as well as family members to see whether they could taste any difference to coffee.

My beauty favourites 2017

As we are now in autumn, I thought that I would put together a blog post about my beauty favourites of 2017! My skin and my hair were crying out for my help and I needed to rescue them. So here are the products that I have been using!

Courgette and Asparagus Quiche

Eat your greens! They are good for you! I always try and use greens in my cooking as much as I can. Asparagus is packed with vitamins and minerals as well as iron, calcium, protein and fibre. Courgettes are low calorie and contain no saturated fats or cholesterol and have many benefits including improving digestion.

This week I tried out the app. Here are my thoughts!

Time for tea and Victoria Sponge Cake

Is it time for tea? Oh I do love a Victoria sponge cake. One of my very first cakes that I made when I was first diagnosed with coeliac disease was a Victoria sponge. Some people just add jam to their Victoria sponge cake, but I use jam and cream. I also brought out the mad hatter teapot because I couldn’t enjoy my tea and cake without him!

Chewsy Gum The 100% Natural Chewing Gum!

This week, I decided to be “chewsy”, and try out some new gum! Whenever I chew gum, I am reminded of the days when I used to wear braces, so chewing any gum or sticky chewy sweets was a big no no. The longing I felt when everyone else was chewing gum and stuffing their faces with chewy fruitellas, wine gums and chewitts!
